In this book, there is a chapter that goes over raising livestock. I wish we had known some of this then.. We had chickens, which we grew from hatching. One morning I went to feed the flock and found them all gone. Something had dug beneath the fencing to get to our hens. Layer we found put it was a badger. Septic, power and water are the big three, I think, but each has its own complexity and he gives a pretty good overview of all of them including kind of structure, nature of the land, and compromises one might end up making. I was disappointed that at every juncture it takes a lot of money and you have to check with the authorities. Nevertheless, that's probably good advice.
